Dez Demps is most succinctly defined as the combination of motivational soul and a Modern-Day Renaissance Man. He wears many titles but finds a way to balance them all without missing a beat.
As a motivational speaker and pastor, he spends his time serving as the Youth and Young Adult Pastor for The Bethel Church in Jacksonville, FL. This role allows him to serve as a counselor and advisor for area teens and college students. He also plays an instrumental role in citywide programming for Jacksonville area youth.
As an artist, he writes, produces and sings music that spreads love and positivity throughout the world. His debut EP “Not Ready” reached the Top 20 on the iTunes Christian/Gospel charts. In 2021 he was featured on Nick Cannon’s “Turn Up” Mixtape, highlighting hot, emerging artists.
As a philanthropist, he volunteers his time to local youth centered organizations and Duval County Public Schools. On any given day he can be found spending time in an area school to provide counseling, a moment of inspiration for students or assist wherever educators may need an extra hand. He also serves his community through his fraternity, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
As a businessman and educator, he trains businesses, leaders and executives on how to build teams, people and connections. The development sessions focus on team empowerment, conflict resolution, mindfulness, culture connection and engagement.
As a family man, he and his wife, Ty Demps enjoy traveling, trying new food and relaxing together when they find the time away from their many endeavors.
All titles and responsibilities aside, Dez Demps enjoys being best known as someone who loves to love people.
